# erateradar > erateradar is a weekly list for small IT providers and MSPs: the open E-rate Form 470 network bids from schools and libraries within 60 miles of their office, each with what that buyer reported on its last request where USAC has one on file (bids received, provider chosen, pre-discount cost), computed from public USAC records. Not affiliated with USAC or the FCC. ## What it is - Every Monday, one list per 60-mile territory around the subscriber's office. The radius crosses state lines. - Each line is one school, library or district with an open FCC Form 470 for Category 2 services (Wi-Fi, switches, cabling, their basic maintenance, managed internal broadband): what it asks for, the earliest date USAC lists for it to sign a contract, and, where USAC has one on file, what it reported on its last request of that kind (bids received, provider chosen, pre-discount cost, USAC status). Each fact links to its USAC record. - Built deterministically from USAC Open Data (Form 470, Form 471 FRN status, service provider registry) and the US Census geocoder. No AI-produced numbers. - How to read it: the allowable contract date (ACD) is the earliest date the school may sign, not the bid deadline (that is in the 470 or its RFP). The bid count is self-reported by the school. The amount is the pre-discount eligible cost, not what was paid. The provider chosen last time may not cover the new request. ## Who it is for Owners of small IT providers, MSPs and network or cabling firms that bid, or want to bid, on E-rate work for schools and libraries near their office. Best fit: firms that already have a SPIN (E-rate service provider ID from FCC Form 498). ## Price - $149/mo per 60-mile territory, or $1,490/yr on the annual plan. - Founding price $99/mo, locked for 12 months, for the first 20 customers. - 14-day free trial, no card. - Details: https://erateradar.com/pricing ## Facts (as of November 7, 2026; USAC data of November 7, 2026) - Open E-rate Form 470s with Category 2 (internal network) line items, nationally, after our checks: 778, from 730 distinct schools, libraries and districts.
